President's Message
Heather Tamminga

And the Survey Says…

Thank you to all of the ISAE members who completed the ISAE CEO and Association Staff Surveys in December. The feedback from these surveys are fueling our Board discussion: what’s on the horizon for ISAE?

Below are some of the key discoveries from the survey. As you review, please note Association Staff refers to non-CEO positions.

Of those ISAE members who completed the surveys:

What are your thoughts? Please take a look at the CEO Survey and Association Staff Survey and share your ideas, solutions and offer to help with any ISAE Board member.

I’d like to thank Mark Gavin and Amy Spike for creating, administrating and summarizing this survey data.

I’d also like to thank Jessica Reinert, CAE, IOM, and the Young Association Professionals committee for their dedication and laying the groundwork for the committee over the past year. Watch your Inbox as the YAP committee will be hosting their first roundtable in May, and a community service project in the next few months.

Finally, I am reminded that my tenure as ISAE President is nearing its end. Thank you for this honor and allowing me an opportunity to serve ISAE.

There is a new movement in companies today that creates more business than the greatest sales army ever could — it’s called social capital, and if your people don’t understand how to leverage it, they’ll be left in the dust. The ability to leverage Networking P.O.W.E.R. could have a dramatic effect on your bottom line… and the level of fulfillment in your office. Adam uncovers the 5 simple steps to building Super Connectors in every level of your company in a way that will leave the whole office buzzing with a newfound energy. This program can be delivered as a keynote, breakout session, or half-day workshop. It’s ideal for sales companies, real estate offices, financial planners, associations, and anyone looking to dramatically impact their bottom line using this very strategic philosophy.
