President's Message
Kevin Kruse

New Fiscal Year!
It was great to see all of the ISAE members that were able to participate in our annual golf outing and our inaugural I-Cubs baseball game this past month. Both events provided a great opportunity for members to network in different social environments and the weather was fantastic. Also, thanks to all of the companies that helped sponsor these events. Your support is greatly appreciated.

As we start a new fiscal year, I would like to thank all members for renewing your membership in ISAE. The board and staff work hard to make sure that we are providing value for your membership. With the update to our website in the last few years, it is easier than ever to renew your membership directly online. One of the items that we are requesting you to update on your profile is your birthdate. With the development of the Young Professionals (YP) group, we need this information to help determine the core membership of this section.

I would like to thank Jessica Reinert for her assistance in leading the YP group. I know that they have already had an educational panel discussion and coordinated a volunteer activity. Look for notices of future educational events and activities that they will be organizing in the upcoming months.

In late June, the ISAE board and staff held a half-day strategic planning session. Some of the key takeaways that your board will be working on this year include an update of each committee’s duties and responsibilities, providing the necessary resources to assist the YPs in further developing their efforts, and coordinating a community service activity that will involve the participation of all ISAE members.

Very few set out with a career in association management in mind. Email Voting by the Board of Directors
