President's Message
Kevin Kruse, JD, CAE

With the winter sports’ state tournaments behind us and with students completing their Spring break vacations, we see the clear signs that Spring is here. The state legislature is nearing their second funnel date and their anticipated adjournment date is clearly in sight. Spring also means that the ISAE Annual Business meeting will be occurring soon. Mark your calendar for Monday, April 24th and be sure to attend that meeting.
On behalf of ISAE, I would like to welcome three new CAEs and congratulate them on this achievement and thank Brenda Neville, CAE for her ongoing efforts in leading our ISAE CAE study group.

This document is important not only for purposes of creating the nonprofit (through filing with the Secretary of State’s office) but also for its continued existence. As a result, it is advisable for an organization to periodically review its articles of incorporation to ensure the document contains accurate information as well as any provisions the organization may desire to include in order to take advantage of some protections available under the Revised Iowa Nonprofit Corporation Act (“Revised Act”) in terms of liability protection for the directors and indemnification protection for the directors... Read More...
