Speaker: Tammy K. Rogers, Aveea Partners

Burnout is being called the occupational hazard of the 21st century…

AND – The good news is that burnout doesn’t need to negatively impact employees or organizations.

A recent survey found that 40% of US workers are burned out. And the myth is that burned out employees are just a bunch of weak
individuals that can’t hack it.  That couldn’t be farther from the truth. The employees that are most often getting burned out are top performers. And companies, not just
workers, are paying the price. Burnout leads to:

  • Skyrocketing healthcare costs
  • Increased turnover
  • Diminished productivity
  • Demoralized workforce

About the Speaker:

Tammy K. Rogers began her career at a startup company in Minneapolis designing employee attitude surveys. Within six months she was tapped to lead the new training and development division. Five years later Tammy joined another startup firm and became the Director of Program Development for Excellence in Training Corporation. While she was there, she wrote more than 50 internationally distributed training programs and worked with best-selling authors like James Autry and Bob Nelson. In 1995 Tammy ventured out on her own for the first time and formed an organizational development firm – which she still leads today.

During her career, Tammy has held Vice President titles in both Human Resources and Operations. She is a certified Coach. She has led 200+ employees in remote offices from Boston to Los Angeles. And she has had the opportunity to both succeed AND fail spectacularly. Today, Tammy is best known for helping leaders experience “Aha” moments in order to develop new ways of thinking, new attitudes and new behaviors that transfer to the real world. And throughout Tammy’s 30+ year career, she has partnered with hundreds of companies – both large and small – to help them improve results through the building of people, processes and procedures.
