PROGRAM COORDINATOR

As a valued team player, your excellent communication skills will be used in a fast paced environment to manage and promote our programs, including:
- Residential waste and recycling
- Community education and outreach
- Content development for our website
- Writing materials for electronic/social & news media
- Serving as liaison to recycling vendors
- Organizing, staffing & promoting internal/external special events
- Supporting internal teams as the recycling knowledge expert
Your developed expertise will report quality details on program activities, statistics, needs, goals, and objectives….you can make a difference in communities and environment!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in marketing, public relations, or related field including related internship or project management experience. Additional work experience may be substituted for the required education.
- Two (2) years of experience in positions that included program management, marketing, and/or public relations.
- Valid state of Iowa Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required.

The administrative operations specialist is “director of first impressions”, responsible for executive and administrative operations of the association and reports directly to the President.
Skills required: spectacular telephone skills, outgoing positive attitude, self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized, proficient internet applications, database management skills a must, data manipulation in excel, personable and pleasant customer service attitude.

As our business operations grow, we are in need of an administrative specialist to be the first voice and face to greet clients and keep the office functioning smoothly. Administrative activities may include answering telephones, file organization, meeting material preparation, mailings, website maintenance, writing articles, typing, internal team support, etc. The primary function of this important position will be the day to day management of our web-based association management software and member database software licensed by CDC “gomembers OnDemand”, formerly known as Computility.
